A: A pole barn is made from engineered lumber, and pre-cut materials. There are a number of advantages to building a pole barn rather than stick-built construction. A pole barn uses posts buried in the ground to support the weight of the walls and the roof. In many cases, a traditional concrete foundation is not needed.
Q: Why would I want a pole barn?
A: Pole barns are often more cost-effective, quicker to build, are more severe-weather proof and more energy efficient than a traditional stick-built construction.
Q: How much does a barn cost?
A: Each project is customized to your requests/needs, so pricing varies. The average cost range of a 24x24 pole barn is around $10,000-15,000 depending on the requests and customization.
Q: How long does a job take?
A: Depending on the size and customizations, a building can take anywhere from 2 days to 4 weeks.
Q: Do you do electrical, plumbing, garage doors, or concrete with these projects?
A. No, but we do work with trusted vendors that do, to provide an all-inclusive project option. This means your quote will include the total cost of all services (construction, electric, garage-door installation etc.) and Woodburn Construction will act as your personal “general contractor” to manage the entire process from start to finish, so that you won’t have to lift a finger.
