About Us
Woodburn Construction Is
 a Family Business

Started by my dad in 1974, Woodburn Construction has been around Warren County and surrounding areas for more than 35 years. I started working for my dad when I was about 10 years old, and only stopped in my early 20's to earn a living traveling the country racing sprint cars and working my way up to NASCAR. I eventually moved back to the area to start a family and pick up the business where my dad had left it after he retired.

Why Build a Pole Barn?
More Cost Effective

A pole barn can save time and money by not always requiring a traditional concrete foundation, having less weight-bearing walls creating less framing costs, and wider truss spacing for less overall construction costs.

Handles Severe Weather

A pole barn can stand up to severe weather that could damage or destroy a conventional building. The posts that are embedded in the ground transmit lateral wind loads on the walls to the ground. Pole barns also generally do not collapse during a fire like conventional buildings on foundations can.

More Energy Efficient

A pole barn can also be more energy-efficient than a stick-built structure, because it has fewer thermal breaks than a conventional building. Posts that are 8 feet or more on center can be insulated better than studs 16 or 24 inches on center in a stickframe building.
